Quality Control

Excel operating strategy has always included a strong commitment and adherence to quality control practices. The company currently performs work for all clients under a Quality Assurance (QA) Programme that is based on four Total Quality Management principles:

• Employee participation
• Client satisfaction
• Loss prevention
• Continuous quality improvement

Excel QA Programme has evolved in response to client needs, applicable standards of practice, and concerns regarding liability. Excel obtained ISO-9001 certification by UKAS Quality Management and Pakistan National Accreditation Council. It is a proof of established quality standards for Excel and defined procedures for ensuring that client's expectations regarding cost, schedule, and technical performance are fully met.

The Programme requires participation of employees at every level of Excel structure, and encourages managers and technical staff to take pride in their work and responsibility for ensuring that work is done correctly the first time. The QA Programme is designed to reduce the incidence of problems and effect implementation of corrective actions. Moreover, Jigs and Fixtures have been developed in such a manner that deviation from the specifications is at the minimum possible level.

Continuous checks are made to ensure the required level of precision. In addition to ensure quality, all components go through strict quality control checks before delivery to the customers. These tests are carried out in the quality control laboratory, which is equipped with a complete range of equipment for physical, metallurgical and chemical analysis including Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
